1. Service and scope
Internet access is provided voluntarily and free of charge. No particular availability, speed or transmission quality is guaranteed.
2. Permitted use
The network may only be used in accordance with applicable law and the rights of others. Copyright infringements, unlawful content, attacks, circumvention of safeguards, spam and malware are prohibited.
3. User responsibility
Users are responsible for actions performed through their devices and for securing those devices.
4. Restriction or termination
Access may be restricted or ended for technical, security or legal reasons, including overload, faults or suspected misuse.
5. Liability
Statutory liability rules apply. The operator does not adopt third-party content accessed or transmitted through the guest network as its own.

Processed data
Connection times, local IP address, device name, MAC address, connection status and DNS requests may be processed by the local network systems. The web server logs time, IP address, requested page, status code and browser identifier.
Purpose and legal basis
Processing supports service provision, stability, troubleshooting, security and misuse investigation. Where the GDPR applies, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention
Connection, DNS and web server logs are generally retained for twelve months. Data relating to a specific incident may be retained longer where legally required.
Your rights
Where the statutory conditions are met, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.

Fault reports
Form entries, time, IP address and browser identifier are processed locally to handle the report and prevent misuse. Completed reports are normally deleted within 90 days.

The connection does not work – what can I do?
Turn Wi-Fi off and on again. If necessary, remove the network from your device and reconnect.
Why is the guest Wi-Fi shown as off?
The free service may be switched off by schedule or temporarily unavailable for maintenance.
Is the connection encrypted?
Use HTTPS whenever possible. For highly confidential data, an additional personal VPN is recommended.
